L’album è composto da un CD in cui
sono contenute 25 canzoni, le 16 dell’album originale più 9 bonus track, da un DVD contentente il filmato
“Of the (sic) Your Nightmares, Our Dreams“, a cura del Clown Michael Shawn Crahan, in cui vengono ripercorsi
gli esordi degli Slipknot, saranno inoltre presenti un concerto mai pubblicato prima del Dynamo Open Air 2000 ed i video
di “Spit It Out”, “Wait And Bleed” e “Wait And Bleed (animated version)”. In
occasione dell’uscita di “Slipknot 10th Anniversary Reissue”, la band dello IOWA ha organizzato un
festival a Des Moines, città che ha dato i natali al gruppo, il 9 Settembre 2009, nel quale saranno presenti due
palchi, in quello princiale si esibiranno gli Slipknot come headliner mentre nel secondo ci saranno alcune band locali.
L’artwork dell’album conterrà delle foto inedite ed una nota scritta dal cantante Corey Taylor. Oltre
alla versione citata sarà messa in vendita anche un’edizione limitata dal titolo “SLIPKNOT – 10
years of life death love hate pain scars victory war blood and destruction“, il cui packaging sarà un box di
metallo che conterrà il CD ed il DVD “Slipknot 10th Anniversary“, una T-Shirt, una toppa, cartoline da
collezione, un portachiavi e altro materiale. Questa è l’artwork di “Slipknot 10th Anniversary
Reissue”
